Zoll stellt gegrilltes Nagetier aus Togo sicher
Fleisch aufgrund tierseuchenrechtlicher Regelungen eingezogen und vernichtet
München (Zoll) – Am Freitag, dem 9. Februar 2024, haben Zöllner des Hauptzollamts München am Flughafen bei einer Gepäckkontrolle ein ganzes gebratenes Nagetier aufgefunden.
Im Rahmen der Einreisekontrolle bei einer aus Togo stammenden Frau wurde ein gebratenes, zum Verzehr bestimmtes Nagetier festgestellt. Der Aussage der kontrollierten Frau zufolge handelte es sich dabei um ein Nagetier der Gattung Agutis. Dieses war im Gepäck der Reisenden versteckt und ist bei der Röntgenkontrolle entdeckt worden.
Das Fleisch war aufgrund tierseuchenrechtlicher Regelungen nicht einfuhrfähig. Es wurde eingezogen und anschließend der fachgerechten Vernichtung zugeführt.
„Wir erleben immer wieder, dass Reisende nicht einfuhrfähige Lebensmittel aus dem Ausland mitbringen wollen“, so Thomas Meister, Pressesprecher des Hauptzollamts München.
